Website Design and Development

A digital home that attracts the right people and turns visits into enquiries. Fast, clear, tracked from day one, and built on a CMS your team can update without calling anyone.

Custom website design and development

What it is, and why it matters

Most websites are judged on how they look in a presentation and then never measured again. That is why so many redesigns cost a lot and change nothing. The visitor did not leave because the hero image was dated. They left because the page took six seconds, or because it never answered the question they arrived with.

We build around that sequence. Speed first, because everything downstream depends on it. Then clarity, which usually means saying less. Then the proof that makes someone believe you, and a next step that takes one decision rather than three.

The other half is what happens after launch. A site you cannot update becomes stale within a year and expensive forever, so the CMS, the tracking and the code are all handed over and documented rather than kept as leverage.

Who this is for

A good fit if

  • The current site is losing enquiries and you can see it in the numbers
  • You want to update content yourself afterwards
  • There is a clear action you want visitors to take
  • You can give feedback in consolidated rounds rather than a message at a time

Probably not if

  • You want the cheapest possible template filled with stock imagery
  • Nobody internally can approve copy or supply the real content
  • You need a complex product or marketplace build, which is closer to app development
  • Design has to be decided by committee vote

Four gates between a visit and an enquiry. We find which one your current site loses people at before drawing anything.

Your first 90 days

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Find out where it leaks

We look at the existing site's analytics, speed and search performance, and at what people do before they enquire. The brief comes out of that rather than out of a list of pages you think you need.

  2. Weeks 3 to 4

    Structure before styling

Sitemap and wireframes get agreed while everything is still cheap to change. Arguments about layout belong here, not after the visual design is built, when they cost ten times as much.

  3. Weeks 5 to 7

    Design and build

Every unique page type is designed, then built responsively. Speed is treated as a requirement during the build rather than something optimised afterwards, which never works as well.

  4. Week 8

    Migrate carefully, then launch

Redirects are mapped from the old URLs, tracking is tested with real submissions, and the CMS training happens before go live rather than after. Then thirty days of support while the numbers settle.

What you actually receive

Before anything is designed you get the wireframes: every page type, every section, in order, with what each section has to do written next to it.

It is deliberately unstyled. Reviewing structure while looking at finished visuals is almost impossible, and it is the stage where changes are free.

Website wireframes and conversion planning
  1. Every page type, with the job each section does
  2. Where the enquiry actions sit, and how many there are
  3. What content you need to supply, and by when
  4. Anything on the current site being retired, and where it redirects

Metrics we move

  • Enquiry rate

Compared against the old site, same traffic mix

Submitted forms and calls divided by sessions

  • Largest contentful paint

    Under 2.5 seconds on mobile

Field data once real traffic arrives, not just a lab score

  • Organic traffic after migration

Held flat or better within 30 days

Search Console, compared week on week through the move

  • Pages your team updates

Shows whether the CMS is usable

Edits made by your staff in the first 90 days

Where this usually goes wrong

  • The usual mistake: Redesigning because the site looks dated, without knowing where visitors currently drop off.

What we do instead: Measure first. Sometimes the fix is three pages and a faster server, not a rebuild.

  • The usual mistake: Launching without a redirect map and losing the rankings the old site had earned.

What we do instead: Map every old URL before launch. Recovering lost rankings takes months.

  • The usual mistake: Giving the same weight to nine calls to action so none of them get taken.

What we do instead: One primary action per page, repeated, with everything else quieter.

  • The usual mistake: Building on a CMS only the agency can operate.

What we do instead: Hand over the keys and train the team. A site nobody can edit goes stale within a year.

Questions we get asked

How do we get started?

Book a free consultation. We look at where things stand today, agree what to fix first, and send a written scope before any work begins.

How is the cost decided?

Every engagement is scoped to your goals, the size of the work and your timeline. You get a written proposal after the consultation, so the cost is clear before anything starts.

How will we know it is working?

We agree the measures at the start, then report against them in plain language, with the numbers shown so you can check them yourself.

Who will we work with?

A named lead who knows your account, backed by the specialists the work needs. You always know who to message.

Do you work in Arabic as well as English?

Yes. Content, campaigns and reporting can run in Arabic, in English, or in both, depending on who your customers are.

Can you work alongside our own team?

Yes. We can take on the whole service or fill the gaps around your in house team, and hand over cleanly if that ever changes.

What do you need from us?

Access to the accounts involved, one person who can approve work, and an honest picture of what has been tried before.
